21st birthday.

so, since i made the pledge to myself that upon turning the age of 21 later this winter, that i was going to wear a top hat all day, (text MSG mishap, but i decided to do it anyway), that perhaps i would go all out with the whole shebang, and maybe wear the body garb to go with it. so, since i had nothing better to do this afternoon, i decided, "hey, why not go a looking, i may be nearly broke, but what harm could it do? so, after a few hours of the old browse-a-roo, i had pretty much decided that i hate suit retailers. their websites are crappy. they really don't want to come out and tell you anything, at all, about anything. it was only after about fifteen Min's at one site, when i came to the realization as to why. they charge you out the ass! one site wanted more than $3000!!! and it didn't even come with pants!! so at this point, i had all but given up, and so i just went to check a few more, when i found this site, which has convinced me to give tuxedos a second chance. the website wasn't glaring and white, which was a nice change, and best of all, they both told me the prices up front, and with out fear, but also: i didn't shit my pants when i read them. they seem so reasonable, and that was when i thought that i was renting! i looked further into the site, and found out that other sited had been offering to rent me a tux, for more than this site was selling them for!! that's crazy! and despite the fact that these people cant be making much money, they seem to have set up a user interface that is sleek and efficient, and makes it easy to find products, so I've already found at least three that i think would be really good to own. i went into this afternoon with thoughts of looking at things i cant get, but now, i think i might actually buy myself a birthday suit.

so, my video of feynman talking about the relationship between religion and science has evaporated into the ether of youtube...so im rather bummed by that, i really liked it. anyway, i have been debating what to put up in its wake, as evidently, i need a video on my page. so i've decided to put up a dandy video of some frenchman, listening to the wall, and dinking about.

New Year.

So the year is new. I now have to stop writing 2006. damn, and i was just getting used to it, too. so, how shall I celebrate this new year? what new things shall i do? how will i make this year be the year that my name goes down in the history books? I'm going to do everything exactly the same. except maybe get a job. hopefully. and the video games. gonna play those too. As in... right now.
